Hotel California is a music album which was released in the month of December in the year 1976 and it depicts the emotional exhaustion of the West Coast when the love and peace converted into Sceptical pleasure seeking. It was a soundtrack of immoral times and yet was able to sell about 16 million copies or may be more. The younger market was growing in both size and spending power, and the youth-oriented movie goer had little interest in films produced to appeal to the older market. They demanded something fresh, and whenever possible a bit of a rebellious edge.
Hollywood found its creativity challenged in reaching for this new market. They tried the "bigger is better" approach, hoping to draw people away from the small-screen television and back into the full-color, large-screen motion picture theatre
